Psychosis was our premier 3D haunted
attraction that was located at The 13th Gate and ran as
a pre-show for several seasons. It was an unusual mind
trip through an endless maze of fluorescent colors, floating
and turning walls & floors, and unusual frightening
creatures (not to mention an evil clown or two). Around
every turn you could find shocking 3D effects and scares
that seemed to appear from nowhere!
Featuring the artwork of Stewart
Smith, one of the top artists in the country
specializing in UV artwork and in extreme 3D.
Themed as a old haunted movie theatre, Psycho Cinema,
which appeared on LSU campus in 2001, transported patrons
right into the middle of some of the most frightening
movies in history.
Themed as a twisted 30's sideshow carnival
and billed as the deadliest show on earth, Carnevil was
a frightening world inhabited by sideshow freaks, evil
clowns, magical illusions and several old time funhouse
rooms. Hosted in 2000 at LSU's livestock show arena, the
haunt was such a success that it was rebuilt and returned
the following year as Carnevil II. Carnevil was also unique
for the gags it played on unsuspecting customers. You
never knew what could happen to you during a trip through
the haunt: from booby trapped ringing telephones to secret
doors that could have a person walking around in circles,
or worse, locked in a cage in a scene for others to gawk
at.
The Dungeon was our first portable
haunt that made it's appearance in 1999 at the Livestock
Show Arena at LSU in Baton Rouge.
