Voodoo Bayou

Few people are foolhardy enough to attempt to cross Voodoo Bayou, a dark alligator-infested swamp rumored to be the secret home of the voodoo queen, Marie Laveau.

Frightening stories abound of lost travelers who in desperation followed a ghostly lantern that led them to a group of old shacks in the middle of the swamp.

Once inside, they became entrapped by the old witch’s spells and ended up as her evening meal.
